I am a mathematician specialized in algorithmic discrete mathematics and machine learning optimization, with a strong background in probability theory.
I hold a M.Sc. in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science from Bonn University and currently conduct research at Fraunhofer Institute for Algorithms and Scientific Computing. I defended my thesis on machine learning algorithmic optimization with the highest distinction, which I wrote under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Marc Alexander Schweitzer at Bonn's Institute for Numerical Simulation. My research achieved an average 41% speed-up in fast solvers for large sparse linear systems, which are critical for complex engineering and physical simulations.
Previously, I completed my B.Sc. in Mathematics with honors at UNAM and was awarded the "Sotero Prieto 2024" medal by the Mexican Mathematical Society for the best mathematics thesis in Mexico, as well as the "Gabino Barreda" diploma for achieving the second-highest GPA in my class. My main interests lie in machine learning, quantitative finance, and everything that has to do with using algorithms efficiently (most of the time with lots of heavy math behind them).
